Papers on Kappa sushi operator sent to prosecutors


Tokyo police on Sunday sent to public prosecutors papers on the operator of the Kappa Sushi restaurant chain for suspected violation of the unfair competition prevention law.

The move by the Metropolitan Police Department follows the arrest on Friday of Koki Tanabe, the 46-year-old president of Kappa Create Co., the operator of the sushi restaurant chain, for alleged violations of the law.
