Ahead of their “Thursday Night Football” matchup against the Broncos, the Browns put many of their key players on the injured reserve list; however, one important player was activated on Thursday afternoon: wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

The five-time Pro Bowler has dealt with a knee injury causing him to miss the last four games. In their second game of the season, Landry suffered a sprained MCL on the first drive of the game versus the Texans. He missed the rest of the game and was placed on the injured reserve list. Originally expected to return by Oct. 15, Landry missed Week 6 vs. the Cardinals.

Through two games this season, Landry has 80 receiving yards. He also has 13 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown, even though he only played one full game this season.

The Browns’ other main wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., remains out for Thursday night’s game as is QB Baker Mayfield. Along with Landry’s activation, the Browns also elevated QB Nick Mullens and CB Herb Miller from their practice squad. Mullens will act as the backup to Case Keenum, who is Mayfield’s replacement for the game.

Cleveland had around 20 players questionable or out ahead of Thursday. Landry has been the only player to be activated so far from the injured reserve list.
