IKEA saw a huge crowd on Saturday in Bengaluru. The Swedish furniture company opened its first city outlet at Nagasandra on June 22. Folks had to wait for three hours at the store and it became difficult for the security guards to manage the crowd.

IKEA tweeted, “Bengaluru, we are overwhelmed by your response. Current wait time at Nagasandra store is 3 hours. Please plan accordingly or shop online. For latest wait time updates.”

Many customers had to face trouble, as it took three hours for them to enter the store. Some had to return even without getting an entry. When IKEA inaugurated its first store in India, crowds had gathered at the place to take a look at the store.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai opened IKEA’s largest store in India on June 22.
